Need Should Not Stand in the Way of Talent

Children who have the chance to develop a talent and are proud of themselves will not need gangs, drugs, pregnancy and crime to feel important.
Joyful Noise was founded in 2003 with the goal of bringing music lessons to children who cannot afford them. In 2004, we provided lessons for 13 music students. In 2008, we registered 162 students.

The Second Annual Music Fest
for the benefit of Joyful Noise Neighborhood Music School was held on Sunday, August 15th. A special thanks to Taw’s Pro Drum Shop (32120 Detroit Road in Avon, www.tawsdrumshop.com) for organizing and sponsoring the event. The day featured performances, drum circles, clinics, prizes, a food court, and face painting. A very special thank you to Randy Domelle for donating his raffle winning - a five piece drum set - to Joyful Noise.
